About Us

The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) is an independent, not-for-profit corporation funded by all Ontario municipalities, accountable to the province, municipalities, and property taxpayers through its 13-member Board of Directors.

Our role is to accurately assess and classify all properties in Ontario in compliance with the Assessment Act and regulations set by the Government of Ontario.

MPAC’s 2026 Spring Awareness Campaign.

The campaign will run through mid-July and aims to help property owners better understand their property assessment and encourages them to access their information through MPAC AboutMyProperty™. Property owners can register for MPAC AboutMyProperty™ using the roll number and access code found on their Property Assessment Notice. If they no longer have their Notice, they can contact MPAC’s Customer Contact Centre for support.
